Does the Nikon Z MC 50mm f/2.8 Macro Work for Astrophotography and Nightscapes?

I recently used a Nikon Z MC 50 mm f/2.8 to shoot some photos for my YouTube channel. Since I had one in hand, I decided to take out with me on a trip to Big Bend and test it out as a Nightscape lens. My biggest question was, will it work? Join me as I review the key specs of the lens, what I liked about it, what I didn't like about it, I take a look at some of the photos I took, and finally I discuss who I think this is a great lens for.
