One of the ways we commemorated Small Business Week was by recognizing two small businesses that have shaped and impacted Sumter.

While there were many phenomenal candidates, the winner of the Micro Small Business of the Year was Creech Roddey Watson Insurance.

The winner for the Small Business of the Year was Re/Max Summit.

We also were honored to have one of our hardworking Sumterites presented the Duke Energy Citizenship & Service Award. Congratulations to our County Council Chairman, James T. McCain, Jr.

At the Chamber of Commerce, every day is Small Business Week as we work to promote and strengthen our small businesses, but we were ecstatic to be able to provide extra recognition and acclaim for this year's winners and finalists.
