Room Tour Port River Hotel & Spa January 2024.

Holiday booked with On the Beach.

It was a lovely clean room with housekeeping every day.

The Shower was a walk in wet room type shower excellent for people with mobility issues.

The Room was a good size with plenty of storage space, a safe and stocked mini bar which was refilled daily containing water still and sparkling, soft drinks, fruit juice cartons and Efes beer.

There was climate control but that only worked when the door card was in the holder so the temperature dropped when you were not in the room.

The balcony was a good size with views over the hotel next door which was having some renovation at the time of our stay but wasn't overly noisy.

The double bed was on the firm side but the single bed was much softer.

Bedding and mattresses were very clean. The towels were of nice quality, beach towels can be picked up from the SPA area.

The only issue we had with our room is that the door lock would sometimes not open and we had to have the hotel come and fix it a couple of times but this was always very quick and the staff are lovely.

I didn't take my wheelchair on this holiday but I would have had no issue if I had. My room wasn't a specific accessible room but it was excellent for me.

We would return to the Port River and Spa Hotel in January. When the sun came out it was very warm but I would advise taking a mixture of clothing warmer and cooler and definitely take a coat.

The guests were a mixture of nationalities with very few from the UK. The staff had a very basic understanding of English but we like this on a holiday it is more immersive.

This is a typical All inclusive hotel set outside the main resort area but for us for a short break where we jusst wanted to relax and recharge our winter batteries it was perfect. I would imagine it would be very busy in the height of season.
