Glowing Lines Effect Tutorial in After Effects | BlotterMedia Dance Effect | Dancing Lines Scribble

In this tutorial I show you how to create glowing lines effect, also known as BlotterMedia dance effect inside of Adobe After Effects. This dancing lines scribble effect got very popular couple years ago and is still relevant today. That's why I decided to bring you a detailed step by step guide to how you can create your own custom glowing lines scribble on your videos. The effect itself is pretty simple and straightforward to make, but it does take a while to animate, since you have to do it frame by frame, but the end result is worth it. After you have created the lines, you can easily change their color and apply different effects, I like to add glow so the lines look like neon lights. This technique is very powerful in motion graphics and motion design, also in video editing as it allows you to draw pretty much whatever you want and create custom animations in sync with the footage. Feel free to experiment and get creative with it.
