Meet three of the receipts of the Midwest Technical Institute and Delta Technical College High School Scholarship (MTI and DTC HS Scholarship). Jordan Abbott (Journeyman Welder II Graduate), Alyssa Wright (Dental Assisting Graduate), and Noah Sheffield (Journeyman Welder Graduate) share their experience with the scholarship process, what it was like attending MTI or DTC, and the career path they pursued after graduation.

Delta Technical College and our sister school, Midwest Technical Institute, currently offer qualifying students the opportunity to earn the MTI and DTC 2020 High School Scholarship. The program will award up to 23 scholarships for various amounts at each of our campus locations. In total, up to 138 students across MTI and DTC’s campus network will receive approximately $804,000 in MTI and DTC scholarship funds.

Established during the 2013-2014 academic year, the MTI and DTC HS Scholarship assists graduating high school seniors in securing the hands-on workforce training necessary to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
