THE SECRET TO CATCHING STRIPERS FROM THE SHORE AT LAKE POWELL

Our recent trip to Lake Powell was a hit. Repeated last years fishing trip and beat out record. We caught a total of 161 Stripers in total.
The biggest secret to catching them is to find a spot where the cliff just drops off, usually they use that as their main highway and you just cast your anchovies out there and let it sink for maybe 5-10 seconds and slowly start to real up. Once you get into the school it will be non stop action like you just witnessed. They always travel in packs so when you see someone catch one, immediately throw it next to the fish and you should be able to land one.
