The Field Foundation President Angelique Power and Institute Director John Shaw discussed the importance of philanthropy and how leaders in philanthropy are responding to COVID-19, economic turmoil, and racial unrest in the United States.

Power has served as the president of The Field Foundation since 2016. The foundation distributes grants each year to the community, civic, and cultural organizations throughout Chicago. Before joining The Field Foundation, Power was program director at The Joyce Foundation and director of community engagement at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago.
