Mobile PDF Viewer: Compress & Convert with the Smallpdf App

Our Mobile PDF viewer is available in Android and iOS. You can now edit, compress & convert a PDF on your mobile phone.

We took the mobile app you know and love, and added some sweet new features that make viewing, compressing, and converting files on your smartphone… easier than ever!

So here’s what’s new:

With Smallpdf Viewer, you can now open files other than PDFs, such as JPGs and Word documents, on your iOS or Android device.

1. You just select the document you want to view.
2. Click the spectacles icon in the top right-hand corner.
3. And there you go! A comfortable viewing experience just for you.

We also added Smallpdf Compress. This handy new tool gives you the option to choose between basic compression, which reduces your file size by 40%, and strong compression, which reduces file size by seventy-five percent.

1. You just select the document you want to compress.
2. Click the “Compress” function.
3. Choose either strong or basic compression, depending on your needs.
4. And voila. All compressed and ready to be managed from your storage space.

Last, but certainly not least, Smallpdf Convert lets you, well, convert your PDFs, Word documents, and JPGs to whatever format you need.

1. Just select the file you want to convert.
2. Click “Convert” from the drop-down list.
3. Choose the document type you’d like to convert to.
4. And all done! You’ll find your converted file safe and sound in your storage space.
