Secrets of the Kita In Temple

Our team in Japan visited the Kita-in Temple in Kawagoe, Saitama and wanted to share their experiences, as well as how to contextualize some of the more elusive parts of the Japanese culture they experienced there!

Our goal at "Really? Japan!" is to contextualize Japan for Western foreigners, in an attempt to clarify the mystery clouding Japanese culture by adding depth, background, and relatability through our Youtube channel's videos. We will do this by providing some history, helpful tips and tricks, as well as context to Japanese events and monuments that would be well known overseas. We also want to create a cultural exchange by sharing interviews and contextualized experiences with local Japanese citizens for an overseas audience.
