It follows James Sunderland, a man drawn to the fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his wife Mary who is already dead. As James explores the abandoned streets and decaying buildings, he encounters disturbing creatures and other lost souls, each reflecting deep psychological trauma. The town twists reality, forcing James to confront guilt, grief, and suppressed memories. Rather than relying on simple scares, Silent Hill 2 delivers a haunting psychological horror experience centered on inner torment, moral ambiguity, and the devastating weight of loss.
