This is an unexpected trilogy that I made :D

Here is the final video I made, and my idea was to capture our journey in Tyria with three most iconic songs of Guild Wars 2.
The first one was supposed to be all about Dragons, their motives, the footages were centered on them, and Soo-Won and Aurene's monologue is really perfect for this kind of video. And I picked all the beautiful GW2 music that would enhance the words spoken.

The second video was supposed to be all about the "behind-the-scenes" characters, especially after Scarlet's death, Aetherblades and Inquest. So I picked a fitting song to put a stronger flavour to all the footages from GW2 that directly or indirectly affected characters like Mai Trin and Ankka.

And the final video was supposed to be all about us, the commanders - everything we have done and seen very directly, how we witnessed everyone we hold dear change, and how we all changed.
There is very few voicelines I put in it, because I wanted the lyrics to carry the narrative of the Commander's journey, how we went from very enthusiastic about slaying dragons, and being a hero, and then how in others' eyes we looked as villains, though "Everyone fails. Everytime" as Ankka said. So in the end there is a song "A world without you", which is sang by Aurene, and I put some really tragic scenes that I really loved in the Icebrood Saga... Maybe the scenes with Ryland were too long, though it was intentional, because those scenes really hit me hard...
I wanted to create this sort of Ying/Yang situation with Aurene singing about being hopeful and seek light, but also Ankka which carried this burden of horrible experiences, and even though she tried to save us... when she realized how pointless it is to change others' minds, she gave herself to the Void, even though both Ankka and Aurene wanted the same thing: "The cycle must end to be reborn" and "You have to burn it down, so something better can grow".

I hope I make sense. :D
