Advent of Code 2024 Day 15 - 2nd Place!

Advent of Code 2024, Day 15. I got 35th on part 1 and 2nd on part 2! My highest finish of the year! Sadly, I was only 3 seconds away from first place, and there were definitely a few places where I could have been 3 seconds faster (in particular I started a few seconds late because I got home late today). But honestly I'm thrilled just to get 2nd, and to get a high finish on both parts, something I haven't done since Day 1 this year.

Today was mostly an implementation day, although there was a bit of a trick to part 2 - I think there were probably a few different ways to approach it but the one I picked ended up working out particularly well.
