Conservative talk radio host Ben Ferguson says if you “want to destroy” religion and the Church, using gender-neutral language when mentioning God is a way to do it.

“The Church is about right and wrong, and good and evil,” Mr Ferguson told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.

“If you take that away, where the Church can no longer stand up for what is right and have principles and declare that things are in fact wrong, you will destroy the Church.

“You will destroy a society who has no faith in anything, has no faith in any god.”
