BACKGROUND:

Past month was a month of deep affliction for me and my family. We experienced, in its full spectrum, the pain Covid is meant to induce to its victims.
Covid patients not just suffer physically but mentally and socially as well, especially because of the fear and stigma that is attached with this uniquely deadly virus that has claimed 5,820000 (5.82 million) lives around the world so far. This is a kind of a battle where you feel that you are entirely on your own. The isolation; The need for you to be avoided by all; The guilt and shame that comes with the fact that you are a virus carrier, can easily contribute to anxiety, insomnia and even depression.

On the other hand, the song highlights the beauty and power of marriage in the midst of suffering. In marriage, we imitate the very character of God by upholding the covenants made to each other and by risking ourselves for the well-being of the other person.

This song is dedicated to my beloved wife who served and sacrificed so much to keep me safe.
