Kaylen, Kelsey and Kristen had a blast filming this live action POV music video of their One Piece RAP (Live Action) song. In this original music video the girls are performing to the full instrumental studio version of song #8 which is on their 14th album Jet Black Hearts.

The charming set attempts to capture the vibes of numerous scenes from the recent Netflix series. These scenes include Luffy’s appearance on the small boat; the deck of the Going Merry; the restaurant scenes of Chef Zeff’s Baratie, Shanks bar and Axe-Hand Morgan’s Marine Base Lounge. Pay attention to notable props that attempt to complete the illusion which include a copy of Mihawk’s sword, other pirate swords, treasure chests with gold coins and jewels, and flamboyant pirate hats.

The constant flashing and rotations from “period piece” costumes to contemporary attire throughout the video is an attempt to “push and pull” the viewer from the vicarious experience of being a One Piece anime cast member to the present with the usual and customary colorful suits the girls typically wear during their K3 Sisters Band concerts.

This effort builds upon the previously released K3 Sisters One Piece RAP (Live Action) music video in which the girls display hand drawn signs and motifs of the One Piece characters, places and objects as they sing and rap to their original tune.    • One Piece RAP (Live Action) - K3 Sisters  

It has not been lost by many listeners that the K3 Sisters One Piece RAP song was composed to capture the long-standing traditions attributed to the hundreds of sea shanties or sea chanties of old which sailors sang to conquer the painstaking daily boredoms of hoisting the sails and performing many of their shipboard tasks and duties. As you listen to the song you can easily imagine the sailors working to the rhythm of the song.
