Welcome back to ProGuitarShop and ToneReport.com. Today, we’re spending some time with the Tremotron from Stone Deaf. The Tremotron is a digitally controlled dual analog tremolo unit that changes the tremolo game with a compact, easy to use interface. Three of the knobs are surrounded by LEDs, and these three controls are the heart and soul of the Tremotron. Each knob can be set, then pressed to access a second independent tremolo bank. These two individual trem circuits can be mixed or synced to create some complex and innovative intermodulations. After standard Rate and Depth controls, you’re granted access to the incredibly powerful waveshape selector. Unlike every waveform control, the Tremotron gives you unique features. One of them is the ability to stack a second waveform onto the first some truly deep wave editing and new rhythms. The Tremotron offers up to four onboard presets with a global save option, and up to 128 available via MIDI, as well as a tap tempo control with a no-fuss subdivision switch and expression control of 3 of the knobs. Analog Tone and Volume controls round out the action to precisely tailor the Tremotron to your setup. And like all Stone Deaf pedals, the Tremotron uses only the finest componentry and is made in jolly old England.
