Teenu, a young fan of Bindiya, an actress, overhears a man planning to kidnap Bindya. He reports this to the CIDs, who appear at Bindiya’s house, and ask about her. Bindiya’s step-mother sends the CIDs away in a haughty manner. However, the kidnappers phone Bindiya's step-mother and ask for Rs 5 lakh in exchange for Bindiya. Although the step-mother is ready to pay the ransom, the CIDs warn her against it.

These children play central characters and often help the CID team of ACP Pradyuman, senior inspector Abhijeet and senior inspector Daya in solving crimes. The trio is often tagged by Inspector Fredricks. The team employ detailed investigation, analysis, and intuition, to zero-in on the criminal.
