The Forgotten Hero of Gettysburg, George G. Meade

We discuss today one of the titans of Gettysburg, the commander of the Army of the Potomac. Maj. Gen. George Gordon Meade. Sometimes fate is thrusted on people, and for Meade that is extremely true, the morning of June 28th 1863 when Meade was ordered to take command of the Army of the Potomac.

Today we discuss the war, his life before and of course after. I won’t lie, Meade is my favorite General, so this is a fun video for me!
