In this organizational update, Melvin Battiest, Executive Director of Native Wings, shares several exciting developments happening within our organization.

We provide an update on the progress of our Rec & Cultural Center, including how this space will serve as a place of healing, culture, creativity, and community for our Native brothers and sisters.

Melvin also discusses the growth of our Feather Program, our pre-release and post-release reintegration program designed to walk alongside individuals returning home from incarceration, offering mentorship, structure, and hope.

Finally, we are honored to share an invitation we’ve received to attend the National Prayer Breakfast this February, a meaningful opportunity to represent Native Wings and the communities we serve on a national level.
