Joni Lamb, co-founder and President of Daystar Television Network, strongly refuted the allegations made by her son, Jonathan Lamb, and his wife, Suzy, claiming she covered up the sexual abuse of their granddaughter by a family member. According to Joni, the accusation stemmed from her granddaughter allegedly saying a boy at her preschool had touched her.

During a recent edition of "Joni Table Talk," Joni Lamb called the accusations "absolutely a lie." She firmly denied hiding any wrongdoing, insisting, "I never covered up anything. I wouldn't hide anything. Marcus didn't cover up anything." Joni further criticized the allegations, attributing them to a "low-level blogger" who, she claimed, was distorting the truth without knowing both sides of the story and attempting to harm her family.
