this ain't a perfect run...

When I first played this game, I thought it wouldn't be that enjoyable because it's not a true platformer (in the sense that you don't move your character). In Kid Tripp, you control your characters timing- that is, you control when the character jumps, throws rocks, runs/walks. Unaware that this was the case, I was immediately disappointed. Being a huge fan of Sonic and Mega Man or even loving the League of Evil games, I expected something more like those games. After a few deaths, I crossed level 1 of world 1 and to my surprise- I fell in love with the game.
I can't really describe why I like it, but the game is very challenging. The music goes really well and acts to boost morale.
All in all, I recommend the game. It's clearly worth a $1.
I do hope more levels are added (for free), or a Kid Tripp 2 is released with even more levels to boot.
