Track saws are a great tool for making very clean and accurate cuts and excel at tasks like breaking down sheet goods. Being able to set the guide track right on your cut marks and make a clean accurate cut is the main advantage of a track saw. The Makita SP6000 brings a lot of useful features in a well built package to the track saw market. With a 12 amp motor it has plenty of power for just about any job you throw at it. It excels at cutting plywood, melamine, countertop, solid wood and just about any other material that you would cut with a circular saw or table saw. Bring the saw to the work rather than the work to the saw. The Makita SP6000 track saw is worth a serious look if you're in the market for a track saw.
