New 2025 BMW S 1000 RR Revealed

Описание к видео New 2025 BMW S 1000 RR Revealed

The 2025 BMW M 1000 RR represents a high point in BMW Motorrad’s lineup, designed with serious track performance in mind and loaded with technological and aerodynamic advancements. With a refreshed look, powerful engine updates, and advanced control systems, this bike is geared towards riders looking to push boundaries on the road and track alike.

A major highlight of the 2025 M 1000 RR is the upgraded engine, which complies with the latest Euro 5+ emissions standards without sacrificing performance. The inline-four engine remains potent with 205 horsepower at 13,000 revolutions per minute and 83 pound-feet of torque at 11,000 revolutions per minute. To achieve even higher efficiency and performance, the engine has been redesigned with full-shaft titanium valves, a modified combustion chamber, and larger throttle bodies, boosting airflow by 17 percent and increasing the compression ratio to 14.5:1.

The changes extend beyond just power; BMW engineers have revised the aerodynamics to enhance stability and speed. New carbon fiber winglets generate significantly more downforce than the previous version, increasing stability during high-speed cornering and reducing the likelihood of wheelies. At top speeds of up to 186 miles per hour, these winglets add up to 66.1 pounds of downforce, a noticeable leap from last year’s 49.8 pounds. This increase allows for better cornering speed and a more stable front wheel, giving riders the confidence to push the limits.

The M 1000 RR also introduces the new M Quick-Action Throttle, which now requires only 58 degrees of rotation for full acceleration, down from 72 degrees in previous models. This update not only improves response but reduces wrist strain, especially on the track where throttle control is critical. Complementing this is the enhanced Dynamic Traction Control, featuring a new Slide Control function. By using a steering angle sensor, the bike can detect drift angles and manage rear-wheel slip, allowing for smooth power slides in select settings.

Braking on the M 1000 RR has also received an upgrade with ABS Pro and the innovative Brake Slide Assist. This technology supports braking drifts by allowing a controlled drift angle using the steering angle sensor. With five adjustable levels in race modes, riders can now customize their braking experience even on slick tires.

BMW Motorrad has also optimized the Flex Frame for enhanced stiffness in the steering head area and relocated the engine mounting point to improve handling. Standard features like BMW Motorrad Integral ABS, adjustable suspension, and M Lightweight Battery add to the premium experience, while the new fairing design adds a striking aesthetic that pairs well with the advanced tech and power of the M 1000 RR.

The 2025 BMW M 1000 RR promises an exhilarating experience, combining meticulous engineering, intense power, and thoughtful design. Scheduled to arrive by mid-2025, it is clear that BMW’s latest iteration will keep pushing the boundaries of what riders expect from a high-performance superbike.
