The main beaches in Krabi are pretty average, so if you are staying in Krabi I can't recommend a trip out to these beaches highly enough.

Important to note that the water to get these beaches are pretty choppy (our little one did a fair amount of crying because she was scared on the longtail boats with the bumpy ride). Once you are at the beaches, due to the fact that they are in a cove the water is pretty calm and great for kayaking though.

The walk through the rocks to get from Railay Beach to Tonsai Beach is also pretty challenging when you have a little one. So I would recommend that you either hire a little longtail boat to take you from the one beach to the other, or stick to Railay and Pranang Cave Beach (the walk there is easy and stroller friendly).
