ESAG Founder Award 2023

Last month, employees across ESAG united for a momentous occasion, the inaugural edition of the ESAG Founder Award. The event was a heartfelt tribute to our esteemed Founder, an illustrious pioneer who led the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group with unparalleled vision and dedication over six decades.

The evening commenced with a moving video tribute that paid homage to the Founder and his enduring legacy. A testament to his extraordinary journey as a legendary businessman and philanthropist, whose vision and remarkable achievements continue to inspire individuals within ESAG and beyond.

A panel discussion followed, featuring the Founder's daughters, Dr Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson and Managing Director, Maryam Al Gurg, Director, and Muna Al Gurg, Vice Chairperson and Director of Retail. Their insightful reflections and cherished memories added a personal dimension to the event, further deepening the appreciation for the Founder's lasting impact.
The highlight of the event was the prestigious award ceremony. Four exceptional winners, nominated by ESAG employees were evaluated by a distinguished jury comprising Abdulrahman Al Shaibani, Alyza Beg, Sandor Magyari, Tanveer Shabandri and Vamshi Patwari.

It gives us great pleasure to announce the winners: Human Capital for the Corporate Office Department of the Year, Irfan Salim of Gulf Metal Foundry as Employee of the Year, Al Gurg Living as Entity of the Year, and Debasis Panda of Al Gurg Stationery, as Leader of the Year.
