Jatayu Earth Center is an important sight seeing place in Varkala and is 30kms from the main town. Accessible in 1hr via car. Entry is around inr200 and cable car is inr500 per head. Only cash will be accepted in the payment counter.
Can spend around 2hrs at the top that has this bird sculpture, Ram temple and a mini gaming zone.
There is ample space for car parking, food and snacks are available, good toilet facility is also available. The timing is from 10am to 5:30pm and is very crowded during major holidays.
