NEHU Crisis: Professors Decline To Accept The Post Of Pro- Vice Chancellors

𝗡𝗘𝗛𝗨 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘀: 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼- 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘀

Dr Fameline K Marak and Professor SM Shungoh declined to accept the post of pro- Vice Chancellors (VCs) a day after Vice Chancellor Prabha Shankar Shukla designated their names in an apparent bid to pacify the ongoing crisis. It may be mentioned, Dr Fameline K Marak was appointed the Pro-VC for Tura campus, Prof SM Shungoh was named the Pro Vice Chancellor for Shillong campus by VC Shukla on Wednesday.

Highly placed sources informed Northeast Live, that both Marak and Sungboh have not received any official communication regarding their appointment and that they came to know about such a development only through social media posts.
