BONG APPETIT Cannabis Chef & VETERAN - The Wellness Soldier - REGULAR CANADIANS ENJOYING WEED - Cody

This time on 'Regular Canadians Enjoying Weed' we're joined by Canadian Military Veteran and Cannabis Chef - who even went on 'Bong Appetit'... to cook for Wiz Khalifa no less!!! - Cody Lindsay, of @thewellnesssoldier / www.thewellnesssoldier.com !

Cody and his wife Kaleena's amazing platform 'The Wellness Soldier' helps to teach people (with a particular focus on Canadian veterans) how to cook nutritious meals infused with cannabis, so they can incorporate weed into their lives for its health and wellness benefits - which as a medical cannabis user himself, Cody has a lot of firsthand knowledge with.

In fact, after doing two tours for the military - including in Kandahar, Afghanistan (!) - with little warning, specific training or emotional support once returning home, Cody was later dismissed for self-medicating with cannabis... fast forward a few years, weed has been legalized in Canada, and Veterans Affairs now covers the cost of 3g medical cannabis per day. Progress!

Progress that amazing people like Cody (and the entire cannabis/activist community - including the cast of characters mentioned in this episode like B-Real & Cypress Hill, Wiz Khalifa, Kass & Honey [hehe], Viceland and Post Malone) had a part in achieving - by doing the work to destigmatize this majorly misunderstood healing plant!

Us baked beavers were so happy to have Cody, another Victoria-based member of the cannabis community, come by our home base Boler trailer set, to smoke doobs and share his story about the military, Mary Jane and making food that makes people happy (like.. extra happy! lol) and we really can't wait to do it again soon!
