MotoTrbo Noise Supression VS. XVP830 RSM

Results may vary. These are the results that I experienced. Im sure there can be some settings to adjust in the programming but I dont have that option available to me.

In this video, I compare the analog and digital noise suppression of the Motorola MotoTrbo XPR6500 in a real loud noise working environment at my work. I had 2 channels free for me to use in order to not interfere with the live production. Average DB ranged from 97 to 101 at the performance I did this demonstration at. The radios were used on site as required by the license of the venue. Sadly I couldn't record video because it wasn't allowed backstage.

The XVP830 RSM was designed for the APX and APX NEXT radios but it works on the mototrbo's. I haven't tested the complete functionally of the RSM yet aside from the PTT. Being that the RSM was designed for digital operation, it worked very well for this xpr in that mode but also appeared to have a good edge on analog. The ideal and budget friendly option RSM for this kind of setup and environment is the INC mic, but I had the opportunity to get this for myself. I purchased this RSM for myself to use on the radios work provides and so I can also use it for any radio I might buy for myself as well.
