SPINY Lobster! Catch Clean Cook- 2020 Florida Lobster Mini Season

Every year the state of Florida allows recreational divers a shot to catch Caribbean spiny lobster before commercial lobster fishermen set their traps. This is know as mini season and its always the last Wednesday and Thursday in July! We dove out of Hillsboro inlet, Florida and worked our way south to dive the Ft. Lauderdale reefs. We caught our limit of Florida spiny lobster and ended up making three delicious lobster recipes with our catch, lobster ceviche, lobster bisque and blackened lobster alfredo! When we dive for lobster we strictly free dive and never use air such as scuba! Hope you enjoy our 2020 Florida Lobster mini season!
