Описание к видео Essex Walks: Could there be a Stone Circle at Alphamstone?

This short walk of only 3 Miles begins in the village of Lamarsh right on the Suffolk/Essex border. The walk explores the 12th Century Church of the Holy Innocents before crossing beautiful open countryside to Alphamstone. Here there is evidence of the only possible Stone Circle in Essex with up to 11 sarsen stones that sit on the hilltop overlooking the Stour Valley and now occupied by the 12th Century church.

Distance: 5.13km
