Gothic 2 L'hiver is a mod that enhances the visuals of the original Gothic 2 Gold game, adds new areas, recipes, mobs, professions, mechanics and overall it increases the difficulty of the game while keeping it balanced. It doesn't change any quests or voicelines.

It was developed by Unkown111 and the English edition has been made by Mastys.

It's a modification recommended for experienced Gothic players since you'll ramp up the death counter (and frustration) pretty quickly if you aren't used to the game.

We'll be playing the 1.6 version, which is the latest one so far, I've heard the 1.7 version is in the works but a ways off to be finished.
