Creating a Colorado Native Plant Garden replace a sod lawn to reduce water and promote biodiversity

Replacing a sod lawn with a native plant garden can conserve water and help climate change. But more importantly it can promote plant and animal biodiversity, giving local birds, bees and butterflies habitat to live and thrive. And it can be beautiful! I’ll walk you through how I planned and planted my native plant garden for the Front Range of Colorado and provide tips and lessons learned that you can apply to wherever you live.
