A busy week ahead for 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' which is expected to be in action for the next 4 days - With test run circuits to Chester/Shrewsbury and also a members day special. A possible run further north to look forward to, ahead of a number of Christmas market tours in Nov/Dec to Bath.

See the BR Class 8 loco arrive into platform 12 at Crewe, after switching back (with the help of 57003) in Gresty sidings.

Whilst departing - The loco is itching to get going with a couple of bursts of wheel slip keeping the driver busy on the throttle.
