The bear appeared again in Predeal and was filmed a few meters away by a tourist on the slope with his child. The person who recorded the sequences was in the chairlift and alerted the authorities.
The bear is the same one who, a week ago, ran on the slope with a skier. Authorities intend to move him, but experts say that is not the way to solve the problem. Bears approach people primarily because they are offered food.
The images were captured by a skier on the "Sub Teleferic" slope in Predeal. The moment he saw the bear, he started screaming in an attempt to chase him away. The animal was speeding towards two skiers on the slope: an adult and a child. The two no longer knew where to go to escape danger. The person who captured the images called 112.
The animal stops and looks slightly bewildered. He looks around, but doesn't walk away. Then, despite the noise, he headed for the chairlift, where the shouts came from.
After crossing the slope, the bear enters the forest quietly, without looking at the one who was trying to scare him. Experts say that this must be done every time.

A tourist who was skiing on a slope in Predeal, Romania on Saturday had the misfortune to meet a bear, which began to follow him and run after him. The incident was noticed by people who were in the chairlift. They tried to warn the endangered skier.

"Give it faster, give it faster! Come on, the bear is chasing you! Give it faster! God forbid, don't look back! ” the people in the chairlift shouted at him.

Fortunately, the young man escaped safely after the unexpected encounter with the animal. The spokesman of the County Inspectorate of Gendarmerie, Ion Zaharia, stated that the tourist did the right thing when, at one point, he threw away his backpack, and the bear became preoccupied with examining this object, and the danger was overcome.

According to the mountain gendarmes, during the day, three calls were received to 112 signaling the presence of a bear. Two calls referred to the Clabucet slope, and another to the slope on which the tourist running away from the animal was skiing, a slope which, it seems, was closed. Consequently, the authorities in Brașov issued two Ro-Alert messages.
