Amaryllis soft rot disease is a fungal infection caused by various species of fungi.
These fungi thrive in warm, moist conditions and can infect Amaryllis plants through wounds in the roots or bulbs.
Soft rot disease usually manifests as soft, watery, and discolored tissue in affected parts of the plant.
The affected areas may appear mushy, slimy, or foul-smelling.
In severe cases, the entire bulb can rot, leading to the death of the plant.
