Weber Genesis Silver B Burner replacement

Had my Weber for 18 years and it stays uncovered all year round throughout the summer and winter seasons. I started to experience uneven heating so I decided to change the burners. Found them online and they are compatible with Weber Genesis Silver B and C, Spirit 700 and Genesis Gold Gas Grills.

The only other items I have replaced are the flavour bars and the main grills. The igniter is still the original and does give me some grief in humid or rainy weather.

Filming and trying to maneuver with one hand was a bit of a challenge and the freezing cold temperatures didn't help either. I BBQ all year round so had no choice but to do it now in the middle of winter. Please note I initially installed the middle burner upside down, yeah the cold got to my brain, but I did correct it later on.

Sept 2023 Update, there is an easier way to do this (thanks to those that provided feedback and you will hear me make note of it in my video on replacing the igniter). Remove the panel where the controls are to get direct access to the burner assembly. Simply pop off the 3 controls, remove 2 screws on the side and pop the panel up and out. This gives you better access to the burner assembly. As well, there is no need to remove the screws inside the BBQ as the old burner should slide right out and the new one right in. Kudos to my viewers on this tip.
