RosenkreuzStilette Freudenstachel: Freudia Speed Run -

It's been a little bit, but there has been some recent action within this game, and naturally, I sought to improve upon my time with the newest strats that are available.

This latest speed run of Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel doesn't have any route changes as much as there are some major strat changes. The most important of these changes are the new "Coil/Jet jump" strats for Dolis' and Eifer's stages. If you're familiar with Megaman 10 speed runs, the strat I'm talking about should be familiar. For those that aren't familiar, it's basically performing a coil jump and quickly transfering to the jet at the highest possible point. This strat makes the vertical sections in Dolis' stage faster, and is the newest strat for Eifer's maze skip.

As for the overall run itself, this was done during a set of no-reset attempts (with marathon running in mind), so there is obviously a bit of slop in the run. Some missed strats, unclean movement, and botched boss fights were par for the course as a result. On the other hand, I still got a majority of the strats that I wanted to pin down, and the second half of the game (barring some mishaps), especially the Iris stages, were decent.

Clearly this run can be improved upon, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm just happy that I got the sub-32 (only the current WR runner of the game can boast a time like that making me the second to do so). Anyway, just posting this up to add to the catalog of speed runs of this game I've done. Enjoy.
