JAPAN TRAVEL VLOG 🍣 2-Day TRIP from TOKYO to IZU PENINSULA - This time we travelled to Izu Peninsula, south west of Tokyo, and stayed at a ryokan called Akao Hotel. The hotel is located in Izu Inatori, a place famous for its KINMEDAI fish (Golden sea bream).

Izu Inatori is very easy to reach from Tokyo, only about 2 hours and a half by the limited express train Odoriko, no transfer. From Izu Inatori station, the hotel provides free shuttle bus from Izu Inatori station to the hotel. It's only a very short drive from Izu Inatori station to the hotel. In fact, on the way back, we decided to walk from the hotel to the station so that we could explore the peaceful town.

The hotel facilities are not shiny new, but clean and organized. They have both public onsen and private outdoor onsen. Some rooms have onsen bath too, like the one we stayed at. Onsen was so relaxing. But the most outstanding point was their foods! SASHIMI was absolutely AMAZING! Both quality and quantity! 👍👍

TRANSPORTATION:
Get from Tokyo Station to Izu Inatori Station by the Limited Express Odoriko.
Note that Express Ticket is required to board this train (cannot just use an IC card).
You can buy a total ticket (basic ticket + express ticket) online at EKI-NET (JR Official Reservation Site) or at ticket vending machines at JR stations.
