Different Situation for different display modes 👇

North Up Mode:

When navigating in open waters or along coastlines, North Up mode provides a stable reference point, allowing mariners to easily identify their vessel's position in relation to fixed landmarks and navigational charts.

During long-distance voyages, North Up mode helps in plotting accurate routes and maintaining a clear understanding of the vessel's position in terms of latitude and longitude.

When conducting search and rescue operations, North Up mode assists in coordinating efforts by providing a consistent orientation for locating and tracking targets.

Course Up Mode:

While maneuvering through congested waterways or in areas with heavy vessel traffic, Course Up mode offers real-time information aligned with the vessel's heading. This enables mariners to easily assess their course, track, and the movement of nearby vessels.

During piloting or docking procedures, Course Up mode provides a clear representation of the vessel's heading, facilitating precise maneuvering and alignment with the desired course.

When monitoring the progress of a specific voyage segment or following a pre-planned route, Course Up mode helps maintain situational awareness and ensures the vessel stays on the intended track.

Head Up Mode:

When navigating in areas with complex or narrow channels, Head Up mode offers an immersive view that aligns with the ship's forward perspective. This allows mariners to visualize the upcoming path and anticipate any potential obstructions or course adjustments.

During periods of restricted visibility, such as foggy conditions, Head Up mode provides a more intuitive representation of the vessel's surroundings, aiding in collision avoidance and maintaining safe navigation.

In situations where the ship needs to constantly change course, such as when conducting search patterns or survey operations, Head Up mode ensures that the radar display rotates accordingly, providing an accurate depiction of the changing heading.
