It's easy to lose track of all the things you can do in Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds, which means that most people will be occupied clearing the current content, instead of planning for what is to come. One of these things is the Legendary Spear that will be released in November, when the first update goes live.

You can get ahead of the curve by already preparing for the spear. Despite there not being an official recipe yet, we can surmise that some ingredients will be the same as previous generations, or have a Janthir Wilds equivalent.

I'll go over all of these, and how you can prepare for them so that you can acquire your own copy without breaking the bank. If you don't care about getting the new legendary spear (or backpack later down the road), you can use this as an opportunity to make inordinate amounts of money by selling materials to the players who forgot to prepare!
