Here is a video of our prototype purge valve which made it to our final design. The purge valve along with everything else in the B2 Hookah package is made out of aluminum. This is a 3 piece purge valve; the bottom threaded piece, the top cap piece, and the ball bearing.

When looking inside the purge valve you will notice the spherical shape which cases the ball bearing. Most hookah smokers know the frustration when the ball gets stuck in the purge valve, and when you come to blow out all the water goes up to the head. Not in this case, with this design the ball will never get stuck as it gets cupped instead of sitting on pointed pieces or edges.

We also allowed for lots of air flow to give the purge a strong and fluid release. With just one blow out, you can clear the vase. We usually recommend just blowing a few times in shorter reps so that you do not get light headed.

This purge valve is threaded the same as the hose valve and can be replaced by another hose valve, creating a 2 hose hookah.

The B2 Hookah is completely modular, allowing for lots of play of designs and height variations. All threads air tight, so you have no worries on losing any air.
