Soon a new Hauptwerk sample set will arrive. Sonus Paradisi is busy developing a model of the Albertus Antoni Hinsz organ (1733-1734) of Leens. The Hinsz organ has 27 stops and three divisions: Hoofdwerk, Rugwerk and Pedaal, and was completed in December 1734. In terms of sound this organ is very close to the Schnitger sound. Since Hinsz was a pupil of Arp Schnitger's son Franz Caspar Schnitger, it's no wonder he followed the Schnitger tradition. That's especially noticeable in the first organs Hinsz built himself. In other words, the Hinsz organ of Leens is a beautiful example of an early Hinsz organ with many North-German influences.

The Toccata in F-Dur, BuxWV 157 is probably one of Buxtehude's most famous organ pieces. A typical North German 'stylus phantasticus' organ piece: scales, big chords, fugal elements and a thrilling final.
