Dewalt DCN692 repair Part 2

Welcome to Part 2 of our DCN692 Nailer repair series. In Part 1 I showed how to take apart and hopefully repair a Dewalt XR 18v ( 20v usa)Cordless framing nailer DCN692 type 2. This one is 18v although the video shows the use of a flexvolt battery which will run this type of tool too. I start the video by showing what is wrong and talking about a few things that can cause it. I check the springs and replace the profile/driver. This had no effect. In this video, I show you how to troubleshoot and fix a common problem with this type of tool: nails not sinking all the way. I take you step-by-step through the process of disassembling the nailer, cleaning the mechanism with contact cleaner, and reassembling the tool.
