⚡Flash Knockdown💨 welcomed Harry Kenworthy onto Episode 4 of the show that engages with People of the Combat Sports World.
An amateur UK mixed martial artist who when in fight-mode answers to "The Welsh Bandit", inspired by UK MMA legend Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy.⁣

Fighting out of Hamma MMA North Wales with respected and former UK MMA top contender Azi Thomas as his Head Coach providing all of the guidance and motivation to steer Harry to the pinnacle of the sport. ⁣
⁣
An active competitor, with 4 fights in 2019 and even managed to squeeze in another before the nations lock-down, the experience gained with cage time has contributed to significant all-round improvement, culminating in 3 wins in his last 4 MMA outings.⁣
⁣
Selected to represent Wales at the Junior IMMAF European Open Championships in Rome, initially scheduled for August 2020, demonstrates the calibre of competitor Harry is and the name he’s making for himself. ⁣

In this first part of the MMA Show we hear:

⚡ Harry’s Flash Choices! Which Welsh Boxing great did he choose? Lee Selby or Joe Calzaghe and the legendary bandit Harry favours between Dick Turpin and Butch Cassidy?

⚡ First recollection of MMA, never intending to compete due to his shy and reserved demeanour, but the physical and exciting nature of the sport really drew Harry in

⚡ How he was introduced to his now Head Coach, the opportunities that Martial Arts has brought, including serving as a platform for Harry to channel his personal frustrations into something both positive and rewarding

⚡ Despite his well rounded game, which Martial Art discipline has Harry really taken to and the MMA star he models his game on

⚡ A review of the fight with Ruairi Clark, his Head Coach being urged prior to not allow Harry to compete as they didn’t believe he was good enough, culminating in Harry winning in dominating fashion, taking a unanimous decision and receiving an ovation at the end of the fight.
