Celebrity Money: Their Careers and Wealth Building Investments!

In this video, we take a look at some of the richest celebrities and how they grew their net worth. These are some of the highest-paid celebrities but they're returning even more from their investments.

Ryan Reynolds has several high-profile investments, the biggest being his stake in Aviation Gin. Which was acquired a few years after his initial investment. The deal is rumored to be worth over six hundred and ten million dollars. Reynolds, along with celebrities like Micheal j. fox, and Drake, also raised over seven hundred and fifty million dollars in a joint venture to fund the Canadian investment company Wealthsimple.

A portion of Rhianna's wealth comes from her cosmetic line Fenty Beauty, as well as her fashion line Savage x Fenty. Recently she invested in Partake Foods which is proudly owned and invested by black female investors. Rhianna continues to build her personal brand outside her music.

While his lengthy acting career has him set up financially for life, George Clooney's tequila investment has set his family up for generations. He invested $600,000 and 4 years later, struck a deal with spirit heavyweight Diageo. The deal was for over 700 million dollars, with a potential 300 million dollar earnings bonus.

Dwayne Johnson's film career isn't the only thing making him money. His interest in startup Tremena Tequila has been setting his investment portfolio on fire. He also invested in the online savings app Acorns & ventured into bailing the XFL out of bankruptcy.

Jessica Alba is best known for acting, but her investment in The Honest Company is where she's made most of her wealth. Her billion-dollar company prides itself in offering non-toxic baby and beauty products that are guaranteed safe for families.

Kylie Jenner earns over a million dollars per sponsored post on Instagram. She has been able to turn every aspect of her life into a sellable product. The majority of her return on investment is from her and her sister's clothing line and her skincare and cosmetic lines.

50 cent has had a history of making and wasting money. In 2007 he purchased a minority stake in Vitamin Water and in the same year, it was acquired by Coca-Cola for over four billion dollars. 50 is said to have made over a hundred million off the deal, as well as another sixty million of his Effen vodka investment. After several legal and personal mishaps, 50 filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy. Luckily, soon after bankruptcy, he was able to sign a 150 million dollar deal with Starz Media.

Ashton Kutcher is one of the most respected startup investors in Hollywood. He may have played a stoner on that seventies show, but his business investments have been spot on. Kutcher co-founded venture capitalist firm A-Grade Investments which turned thirty million dollars into two hundred and fifty million dollars. As a huge crypto advocate, he bought bitcoin in 2013 and has donated 4 million dollars in XRP. Kutcher also has shares in the Acorns finance app along.

Shaquille O'Neal is not only big in stature but he's also big into investing. Even as a young superstar Shaq had a hand in investments at a very early age. Shaq invested in Google before it went public. His past portfolio included a hundred and fifty car washes, a hundred and fifty-five five guys restaurants, and a host of other restaurants across the country. More recently, he's become a minority shareholder in papa john's pizza.

Robert Downey Jr. launched Footprint Coalition Ventures, which invests in companies that address environmental issues. Some of the companies his venture group has invested in are Cloud Paper, which is a tree-free paper product company, as well as Ynsect, a company that transforms mealworms into animal feed and fertilizer.

Way back in 2005, Justin Timberlake launched his clothing line William Rast that did very well for over a decade and has recently partnered with Sequential Brands Group. His other notable investments include record label Tennman, a minority stake in Souza tequila, and a host of other acquisitions including real estate and even a golf course.
