🏡Title Policy - A Title Commitment is a promise to insure. This means that if anyone should argue the legal ownership of your property, the assigned title company will defend the title on your behalf.
🏡Earnest Money/Deposit -is a sum of money you put down to show you’re serious about buying a home. It’s typically a small percentage of the purchase price and is held in escrow until the sale closes.
🏡Inspection - can be done during option period to get a better overview of the condition of the home
🏡Option Period - a time requested in the contract in which you can back out of the deal for any reason. Usually, 3-7 days and you usually pay a per fee day.
🏡Appraisal - a professional opinion of value of the home
