“There are over 2,000 references to money in the Bible. In the church, money can be a touchy subject, but Jesus himself had a lot to say on the topic.

As Christians, it may be easy to fall into a legalistic mindset regarding giving. If you find yourself giving out of routine or to check off a box, consider asking the Lord to reveal the motive in your heart. God calls us to give with a generous heart!

Generous giving with complete surrender to God is an opportunity to grow in your faith!

Jesus sees what you give and knows why you give. He says 'For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also’ (Matthew 6:21).

When we have a heart of generosity, we are not only willing to surrender our money, but also our time, talents, career, leadership, family, and everything the Lord gives us. It’s amazing to know that the kingdom of God is the one thing you can invest in that will never go void or bankrupt.

He is so faithful to provide everything we need!
