Robot palletizer, load securing and pallet conveyor systems from a single source

MSK offers the automation of end-of-line packaging in the chemicals industry from a single source. From stacking the products in the desired packing patterns on pallets, wrapping the load units with a sturdy film hood, up to conveying the palletized loads to the warehouse - all systems run together highly efficiently. The uniform control concept, the transfer of product parameters and communication between the systems via the MSK EMSY visualization software enable simple operation of the entire system without interface problems.

The multifunctional MSK Robotech robot palletizer picks up the bags gently and safely from the conveyor belt and stacks them precisely on pallets in the desired packing patterns. It also performs other tasks: As part of the quality check, it ejects products from the palletizing process if defects are detected. The palletizing robot also flexibly and reliably places bottom cartons or intermediate trays from an MSK tray magazine. An MSK pallet conveyor system with an empty pallet magazine feeds the required carrier pallets to the palletizing station.

The MSK Tensiontech stretch hood system then wraps the pallet loads with a tailor-made, transport-safe film hood. The products are protected against moisture and dirt on five sides and are also clearly visible. The MSK stretch hood solution contributes to the sustainability of the end-of-line packaging line thanks to very low energy consumption of less then 0.07 kWh per pallet, the avoidance of fossil fuels, the lowest possible film consumption and the option of using film made with recycled material.

An integrated pallet conveyor system with roller conveyors, chain conveyors and rotating elements transports the pallets fully automatically to the warehouse, where they are picked up by forklift trucks.
