Nye SideDump Bucket

This is the Nye side dump bucket, designed and built to give years of dependable service on the most demanding construction sites.
Side dump buckets are used to save materials when back filling sewer and watermain projects. The bucket can transfer to an excavator for precision placement or can dump directly into the trench.
All Nye buckets are custom built and can be equipped with bolt on cutting edges, teeth and over the bucket forks as required.

Our gravity latch system is simple and reliable. It securely holds the bucket closed without the use of complex linkages, springs or hydraulics. This means reduced down time and maintenance costs.
The secure latch holds the bucket tight against the stops and allows heavy back blading without loading the dump cylinder.
